This past Sunday, 7 brave youth ventured out into the rain/slush/sleet/snow to go on an adventure together. When faced with the choice to stay inside or enjoy the transitioning weather, there was no hesitation…let’s go hiking!
So, we headed over to Keweenaw Base Camp and hiked the great trail system that they have on their 220-acre property. Along the way we were able to enjoy some end of season apples, portage across an active beaver dam, throw a few slush balls, and get a little cold and wet in the process.
It was a great afternoon enjoying each others company and creating some unique memories along the way too.
In the end, we wrapped up with some hot chocolate and talked with excitement about our next youth event on November 18, Tactical Laser Tag! If you haven’t RSVP for this next event, please do! The 15 spots are filling up fast!
