TO ALL VISITORS ATTENDING WORSHIP THIS MORNING: We are thankful that you are worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus with us. Part of worshiping our Lord is bringing our financial gifts in the form of offerings to support the ministry of Christ’s church. As our guest today, please do not feel obligated to give an offering. We are just thankful that you are here and hope you will continue to worship with us. Want to give your offerings online? Go to www.copperluth.org/give.
HOLY COMMUNION: In preparation to receive the Lord’s Supper, please ask yourself these questions: Have I confessed and repented of my sins? Do I believe that in this Sacrament I am receiving the actual body and blood of Christ, under the bread and wine, into my mouth, for the forgiveness of my sins? Do I share the confession and wish to participate in the unity of this congregation? Will I, with the Lord’s help, amend my sinful life? If you answer, “yes” to all of these questions, please join us for this blessed gift from God for our forgiveness.
If you need a gluten free wafer, please ask the pastor when you are kneeling at the rail.

Church Communications Updates
Make sure to stay up to date with all that’s going on here!
- Wednesday Morning Weekly Update Email
If you’re not receiving this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the list. Or, check your spam folder in your email.
- Church App for mobile phones and tablets (Apple, Android, Windows, Amazon) Go to the app store on your device and search for “Saints Peter and Paul” and you’ll see it.
SEEKING: Director of Hospitality: It takes a significant amount of people to create the hospitable environment we have at our church. In order to keep all these groups and volunteers organized, communicating well, etc, we need to have consistent leadership. Pastor Aaron has created a new volunteer position called the Director of Hospitality and is seeking a willing individual to serve. Please read the volunteer job description at copperluth.org/hospitality and if interested email email@example.com.
Saints Peter and Paul Softball: “Spring is trying to get here. We promise. Our church softball team is gearing up for another great season. If you would be interested in playing, please give Rob Cooke an email/call/text (firstname.lastname@example.org) (906-231-7769), ping through Church Community, Builder, or flag him down in between services. Games are on Tuesday nights at 6 or 7:30, starting in mid-May and running through mid July.”
Nominees for the Board of Directors: Dale Dewald, Lori Nordmark, Kim Salmi, Heather Sander, Rob Scholie, Jason Sommerville, and Kristin Wanhala. Three names will be selected on Sunday, May 13 at the Voters Assembly meeting. Please pray for them and for God’s will to be accomplished.
MTU & FINLANDIA GRADUATE RECOGNITION: On Sunday, Apr. 29th, during both services, we will be recognizing the graduates from MTU & Finlandia this year that worship with us. If you will be graduating, please phone the church office at 482-4750 and leave your name and degree earned. We hope all those graduating will attend.
MOTHER’S DAY: We are once again delivering Mother’s Day gifts to the residents of the Barbara Kettle Gundlach Women’s Shelter. If you’d like to help by contributing items such as body lotions, shampoo, conditioner, nail care products, cosmetic bags, hair brushes, perfumes, un-opened make-up samples etc., please bring the products to church by May 6. There is a basket in the narthex for the items. If you have any questions, call Elsa Strayer, 482-7821.
DORCAS SOCIETY/LWML – Will meet this Tuesday evening, April 17, at 6:30 p.m. Program will be Michelle Treankler, who will take us to Israel with photos and narrative, from their trip to that Country in January. We are looking forward to hearing about it and invite all the ladies in our midst to join us that evening. A short business meeting will precede the program. A delicious dessert will be enjoyed afterward.
SENIOR SAINTS – Will hold their next get-together on Thursday, April 26, starting at noon with lunch. At 1:00 p.m. we will get to learn how 3-D printers and marine robotics work from eight Dollar Bay High School students and their teacher Matt Zimmer. The students are looking forward to sharing their knowledge with us and we are looking forward to hearing and seeing what it’s all about. A great combination! All seniors in our midst are welcome to join us that day. Food, fun, and fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ are what it’s all about! Contact John or Jean Pemberton (487-9412) for more information.
