TO ALL VISITORS ATTENDING WORSHIP THIS MORNING: We are thankful that you are worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus with us. Part of worshiping our Lord is bringing our financial gifts in the form of offerings to support the ministry of Christ’s church. As our guest today, please do not feel obligated to give an offering. We are just thankful that you are here and hope you will continue to worship with us. Want to give your offerings online? Go to www.copperluth.org/give.
HOLY COMMUNION: In preparation to receive the Lord’s Supper, please ask yourself these questions: Have I confessed and repented of my sins? Do I believe that in this Sacrament I am receiving the actual body and blood of Christ, under the bread and wine, into my mouth, for the forgiveness of my sins? Do I share the confession and wish to participate in the unity of this congregation? Will I, with the Lord’s help, amend my sinful life? If you answer, “yes” to all of these questions, please join us for this blessed gift from God for our forgiveness.
If you need a gluten free wafer, please ask the pastor when you are kneeling at the rail.

All the women of SS. Peter & Paul are cordially invited to a baby shower for Laura Huff on Sunday, Jan. 14th at 3:00 p.m. in the fellowship room. Please RSVP by Sunday, Jan. 7th on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex. Also, there is a sign-up sheet for “finger foods” if you would like to contribute to the refreshments for that day. What a joyous occasion to anticipate in the New Year!
PORTALS OF PRAYER: The Jan. – March Portals of Prayer are located on the information table in the narthex, please take one as you leave today.
HOLIDAY DIAPER DRIVE! Dec. 1st – 31st: Please help support families in our community by donating any size diapers and wipes. Drop off locations include: The Tree House, Little Huskies CDC, Portage Lake District Library, SS. Peter & Paul and the Life Outreach Center. All donations benefit the KFRC Baby Closet and Life Outreach Center. For more information call Tessa at 482-9363. Thank you for your support!
HANDBELL CHOIR: Have you ever wondered “For Whom The Bell Tolls”? Well it could be you! Sts Peter and Paul is looking to start up a handbell choir and we want you! Any level of experience is welcome. If you are at all interested and potentially free on Tuesday evenings, please contact Sarah Kempin at firstname.lastname@example.org
YAC Christmas Book Drive: The Youth Advisory Council is hosting a book drive to benefit UP Kids. If you have any new or gently used books that you are willing to donate, there will be a donation box set up on Sundays. UP Kids will then distribute the books to children in need during Christmas, so every child gets a Christmas present.
ANGEL TREE: The annual adopt-a-family angel tree program is underway. Angel ornaments with gift suggestions will be on a Christmas tree in the narthex. There will be a table with sign-up sheets next to the tree. When taking an ornament be sure to sign the color-coordinated sheet on the line corresponding to the number on your angel. Please include your telephone number. This is very important because it helps us check the lists versus gifts received before delivering the gifts to the families. Tape the ornament to your wrapped package. Please bring your gifts to church by Sunday, December 17. If you have questions, please contact Megan Brueggeman (906-201-1124).
