TO ALL VISITORS ATTENDING WORSHIP THIS MORNING: We are thankful that you are worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus with us. Part of worshiping our Lord is bringing our financial gifts in the form of offerings to support the ministry of Christ’s church. As our guest today, please do not feel obligated to give an offering. We are just thankful that you are here and hope you will continue to worship with us. Want to give your offerings online? Go to www.copperluth.org/give.
HOLY COMMUNION: In preparation to receive the Lord’s Supper, please ask yourself these questions: Have I confessed and repented of my sins? Do I believe that in this Sacrament I am receiving the actual body and blood of Christ, under the bread and wine, into my mouth, for the forgiveness of my sins? Do I share the confession and wish to participate in the unity of this congregation? Will I, with the Lord’s help, amend my sinful life? If you answer, “yes” to all of these questions, please join us for this blessed gift from God for our forgiveness.
If you need a gluten free wafer, please ask the pastor when you are kneeling at the rail.

2017 OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: A very sincere thank you to all in our congregation who contributed to the success of this year’s OCC Mission Project. We also acknowledge the generous outside assistance received from Mike and Marie Cleveland, Thrivent Financial and Walmart. We donated a total of 226 boxes and $2,065, and while we didn’t reach our goal of 250 boxes, overall this was our best year ever. Please pray for the dedicated Samaritans Purse workers, along with the millions of children worldwide who will receive the boxes along with a 12 week follow-up discipleship program. Pray that the kids, their families, and their communities will come to know the Love of Christ …. as a result of a simple gift !!
HANDBELL CHOIR: Have you ever wondered “For Whom The Bell Tolls”? Well it could be you! Sts Peter and Paul is looking to start up a handbell choir and we want you! Any level of experience is welcome. If you are at all interested and potentially free on Tuesday evenings, please contact Sarah Kempin at email@example.com
ADVENT BY CANDLELIGHT – Will take place on Thursday, November 30, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This is a change in date from December 3 to November 30. We look forward to having the Noteworthy Singers as part of the evening’s program at this important time of year, as we anticipate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Watch for signup sheets for both hostess tables and for all who would like to attend as guests. We invite ALL the ladies in our midst to join us on this special, elegant evening.
Angel Tree Volunteer Needed: During the Christmas season, Saints Peter and Paul collaborate with the Salvation to participate in the angel tree project, which benefits local families. We are currently seeking a volunteer or volunteers who would be willing to lead the project this holiday season. If you are interested in volunteering or leading this project, please contact Kerri Mayra at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mission Trip: Saints Peter and Paul in collaboration with Glocal Mission will be traveling to Honduras on a mission trip this upcoming spring. The trip is scheduled to take place April 11-17, 2018. We are currently seeking individuals who are interested in participating. There will be an information session within the next couple weeks. If you or someone you know is interested in participating in the mission trip, please email Kerri Mayra at email@example.com.
Winter Clothing Drive: Saints Peter and Paul will be hosting a winter clothing this fall. If you have any gently worn winter clothing (jackets, boots, scarves, hats, etc.) that you are no longer using, please consider donating them to the clothing drive. There are boxes for donations set up in the Narthex. If you have any questions, please email either Kim Salmi at firstname.lastname@example.org or Kerri Mayra at email@example.com.
YAC Christmas Book Drive: The Youth Advisory Council is hosting a book drive to benefit UP Kids.
