TO ALL VISITORS ATTENDING WORSHIP THIS MORNING: We are thankful that you are worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus with us. Part of worshiping our Lord is bringing our financial gifts in the form of offerings to support the ministry of Christ’s church. As our guest today, please do not feel obligated to give an offering. We are just thankful that you are here and hope you will continue to worship with us. Want to give your offerings online? Go to www.copperluth.org/give or text “copperluth” to 77977 from your smartphone to get started.
HOLY COMMUNION: In preparation to receive the Lord’s Supper, please ask yourself these questions: Have I confessed and repented of my sins? Do I believe that in this Sacrament I am receiving the actual body and blood of Christ, under the bread and wine, into my mouth, for the forgiveness of my sins? Do I share the confession and wish to participate in the unity of this congregation? Will I, with the Lord’s help, amend my sinful life? If you answer, “yes” to all of these questions, please join us for this blessed gift from God for our forgiveness.
If you need a gluten free wafer, please ask the pastor when you are kneeling at the rail.

Church Communications Updates
We have some new communications methods that we want to make sure you are receiving, if you desire.
- Wednesday Morning Weekly Update Email
If you’re not receiving this, please email email@example.com to be added to the list. Or, check your spam folder in your email.
- *NEW Church App for mobile phones and tablets (Apple, Android, Windows, Amazon) Go to the app store on your device and search for “Saints Peter and Paul” and you’ll see it.
POINSETTIA PLANTS: If you would like to order Poinsettia Plants for Christmas, please sign the sheet located on the table outside the multi-purpose room or contact the church office at 482-4750 by Sunday, November 12th. Cost of the plant is $20. Only those plants that have been paid for will be ordered. You may take your plant home after Christmas Eve Svc. if you wish.
2017 OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: A reminder that all donations are due back no later than Sunday, November 12th. Boxes should not be taped shut to facilitate international customs inspection. A donation of $9 per box would be appreciated to offset shipping costs and provide a 12-week follow up discipleship program for the kids. Boxes and information are available at the display table in the narthex. Our 2017 goal is 250 boxes and $2,000. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause!
BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Members are invited to address the Board of Directors during their regular meetings. The next meeting is on Thursday, November 9, at 6:00PM. Current Board members are Dala Beard, Bob Chalgren, Jed Chrestensen, Maura Leinonen, John Pemberton, Jim Spence, and Judy Zei.
Fall Voters Assembly: All members are invited to attend the regular fall meeting of the Voters Assembly at 10:00am on November 19th in the Sanctuary. The Board of Directors will present the 2018 budget. We thank you for your support and participation.
ADVENT BY CANDLELIGHT – Will take place on Thursday, November 30, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This is a change in date from December 3 to November 30. We look forward to having the Noteworthy Singers as part of the evening’s program at this important time of year, as we anticipate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Watch for signup sheets for both hostess tables and for all who would like to attend as guests. We invite ALL the ladies in our midst to join us on this special, elegant evening.
71st ANNUAL BAZAAR, BAKE SALE, & TEA – Is planned for Saturday, November 18, from noon-3:00 p.m. We welcome donations of items for the bake sale, the tea table, the crafts table, and the White Elephant table. We also welcome volunteer helpers. It’s a busy day! Funds raised go toward missions, both near and far.
SENIOR SAINTS–will meet on Thursday, November 16, starting at noon with a lunch. The program for the day will feature Pastor Paul, who will enlighten us with “Sketches for the Reformation 500th–Characters and Events.” We invite all the seniors in our midst to join us that day to hear who these characters are and what events took place, as well as enjoy a home-cooked meal. Contact John or Jean Pemberton, if questions (487-9412).
Mission Trip: Saints Peter and Paul in collaboration with Glocal Mission will be traveling to Honduras on a mission trip this upcoming spring. The trip is scheduled to take place April 11-17, 2018. We are currently seeking individuals who are interested in participating. If you or someone you know is interested in participating in the mission trip, please email Kerri Mayra at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Winter Clothing Drive: Saints Peter and Paul will be hosting a winter clothing this fall. If you have any gently worn winter clothing (jackets, boots, scarves, hats, etc.) that you are no longer using, please consider donating them to the clothing drive. Donations can be brought to the church with additional details on the clothing drive to come. If you have any questions, please email either Kim Salmi at email@example.com or Kerri Mayra at firstname.lastname@example.org.
YAC Christmas Book Drive: The Youth Advisory Council is hosting a book drive to benefit UP Kids. If you have any new or gently used books that you are willing to donate, there will be a donation box setup on Sundays. UP Kids will then distribute the books to children in need during Christmas, so every child gets a Christmas present.
Angel Tree Volunteer Needed: During the Christmas season, Saints Peter and Paul collaborate with the Salvation to participate in the angel tree project, which benefits local families. We are currently seeking a volunteer or volunteers who would be willing to lead the project this holiday season. If you are interested in volunteering or leading this project, please contact Kerri Mayra at email@example.com.
