What’s your default attitude about life?

I know some people that are habitually negative. No matter the situation, they’ll find the dark spot. You might say to them, “Hey! Look at the cute puppy!” And they may respond with, “Well, don’t you know that most puppies end up in shelters anyway because no one wants them…”

I know some people who are habitually positive. No matter the situation, they’ll find the bright spot. You might say to them, “Hey! Look at the cute puppy!” And they may respond with, “Awww…it’s so cute. And the whole litter is so cute. And their mom is so cute. I’ll just take them all!!”

I also know a lot of people that fall somewhere in the middle. Who are you?

What’s your default attitude about life?

This Sunday we’ll be focusing on becoming People of Habitual Hope. What do you think of when I say those words…? People of Habitual Hope.

A habit of hope.

Is it possible that your whole life – absolutely everything – could be governed by this anchor of hope that we have in Jesus? That you could actually be habitually hopeful?

I believe so.

And I believe the world will benefit from you.

Alive in Christ!
