MISSED A SERVICE?  Watch archive sermons at www.copperluth.org/sermon-archive.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: VBS will take place June 12-15, 2017 from 6-8pm each night. The theme is “Maker Fun Factory: Created by God. Built for a purpose.” Ages 3-6th grade. Register your kids or sign up to volunteer at www.copperluth.org/vbs2017.

Do you have a favorite Bible verse that you would be willing to share?  We are trying to get the little devotions for the Prayer trail back up and running. There are four benches along the trail to rest and reflect so four short verses would be great.  We already have a little box at the start of the trail where we leave the verses for anyone who would like to take them.  I will put a sign up sheet in the narthex on the table outside the social hall so you can sign up for a date. You can e-mail me the verses (llanala@chartermi.net) or just put them in my church mail box and I will take care of the rest.  If you have any questions, my numbers are on the church home page.

Save the Date!  Saints Peter and Paul is celebrating its 150th anniversary and we are throwing a party!  Mark your calendars for July 23 for a combined service at 10am and a fun afternoon at Keweenaw Base Camp.

The Garden Update:

Dear Saints Peter and Paul family,

We are excited to embark on a new growing season of “The Garden”.

In keeping with the mission and vision: “to provide fresh produce to local residents while at the same time providing time for relationship building and life skills coaching”, we are planning to offer 7 of the 10 beds to local families through the Life Outreach Center. We would like to offer a lottery for the three remaining beds.

Those who are interested should submit their names in The Garden box in the narthex outside the sanctuary. If you are chosen, we ask that you prayerfully consider making a donation to assist the garden.

Please do keep in mind that it is expected that all those with plots in the Garden participate in community workdays, watering shifts, and community events.

While we love veggies and know how important they are for our health, the main purpose of this garden is to grow God’s love and community. If you have a green thumb or would just like to be involved with our project, please get ahold of one of us at our email addresses!

Thank you for your support!
